Nepal Army defeated Nepal Police Club 4-2 in a departmental fight to keep their dream alive for first league title.

Nawayug Shrestha scored a brace while Suman Aryal and Sudil Rai scored apiece for the Army men. NPC failed to maintain the lead twice to suffer 2-4 defeat.

Buddha Lama ( 20' ) and Man Bahadur Pariyaar ( 58' ) scored apiece for NPC. Suman Aryal ( 34' ),Nawayug Shrestha (77', 85' ) and Sudil Rai ( 89' ) scored apiece for Army men.

Two goal hero Shrestha became the man of the match and received Nrs 10,000 cash.

Army have maintained their lead on top with 23 points from 10 matches. Second placed Machhindra has 22 points.
