All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has confirmed that one team from this edition of A Division league will be relegated.

ANFA is kicking off the Kathmandu based league from Mangsir 28.

Machhindra FC will play against Brigade Boys Club in the opening match.

There are 14 A Division teams in the league.

Qatar Airways is the main sponsor of the team. They have provided USD 1,50,000 to ANFA for one year deal.
