Nepal is playing its FIFA World Cup round 2 Asian qualifiers home match against Kuwait at Changlimithang stadium, Thimphu, Bhutan.

The match will be played at 2:45 PM NST.

Nepal moved to Thimphu after AFC rejected ANFA's proposal to play the match at under-construction Dasharath stadium.

Nepal have three points whereas Kuwait are in second position of the group with seven points. The match is important for both teams. Kuwait are now ambitiously looking for World Cup qualification with seven points from four matches. Nepal can also aim its position for AFC Asian Cup 2023 if they stun Kuwait today. They will have six points and will be playing three home matches next year.
