Jhapa: Nepal Army Wins Title Of Hamro Purbanchal Cup

Nepal Army has lifted the title of Hamro Purbanchal Cup football tournament in Jhapa.  

Nepal Army defeated Church Boys United 2-0 in the final match played at Domamal Rajbanshi memorial grounds on Monday. 

Tek Bahadur Budhathoki scored both goals (32', 80') for the winners. Rajendra Rawal from CBU was sent off in the second half.

Best GK: Bibas Chaudhary

Best DF: Dipak Gurung

Best MF: Sunil Khadka

Best FW: Tanka Basnet

Best coach: Nabin Neupane

MVP: Tek Bahadur Budhathoki

The champions received Nrs 12,50,000 and runners up team got Nrs 6,50,000. Province 1 CM Sherdhan Rai distributed prizes to the winners.
