The chairman of board of directors of Kuwaiti football federation, Shiekh Ahmed Al-Yusuf Al Sabah has reached AFC HQs in Kuala Lumpur to discuss about the venue for the match against Nepal.

Soon after AFC said NO to Dasharath stadium, ANFA stratagically shifted its venue to "colder" Thimpu. Kuwait FA didn't like the decision. They are now lobbying to AFC to transfer the venue from Thimpu, Bhutan to elsewhere.

Shiekh Ahmed Al-Yusuf Al Sabah met AFC prez Salman Bin and general secy Windsor John to discuss about the transfer of venue.

They also raised question about television broadcasting, stadium and hotels (most probably in Thimpu). FA believes that Kuwaitis will struggle in high elevation and cold weather.

Changlimithang stadium is authrorized to host FIFA world cup qualifiers.

AFC hasn't said anything about the meeting but Kuwait FA posted about this in their social media.

ANFA is adamant to their decision. They seriously want to play the match in Thimpu, which is higher elevation and much colder than Kathmandu.

"We are confident about our decision. We are playing the home match in Thimpu", said ANFA president Karma Tsering Sherpa.

Nepal have three points and Kuwait have four points in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
