Makwanpur: Bakaiya & Sindhuli Enter SFs Of Majhi Gold Cup

Hosts Bakaiya Makwanpur and Sindhuli have entered semifinals of Majhi gold cup football tournament in Makwanpur.

Bakaiya defeated Nuwakot 3-0 in quarterfinal match played on Wednesday.

Anil Majhi scored a brace and Samesh Majhi scored another for the winners. Bibek Majhi became the man of the match.

Sindhuli defeated Sarlahi 5-4 on penalties to enter last four. Both teams played 0-0 draw in regulation time.

17 teams from 15 districts are taking part in the event, which has a winning purse of Nrs 1 lakh.
