Chitwan: Sankata Club Enters SFs Of Bikash Running Shield

Sankata club has entered semifinals of Bikash running shield football tournament in Chitwan.

Sankata defeated Jawalakhel youth club 4-2 on penalties on Tuesday to enter last four.

Both teams played 1-1 draw in regulation time.

Sankata goalie Rajababu Thapa became the man of the match and received Nrs 10,000 cash.

Sankata will play against Nepal Police Club in semifinal match.

Nepal Army will play against Chitwan XI in first semifinal match on Wednesday.

Narayangadh Jaycees is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Nrs 6,06,666.
