Seventeen clubs of Makwanpur district have submitted a protest letter to Makwanpur Sports Development Committee against Makwanpur DFA to draw ANFA's attention.

They are protesting after only nine clubs are allowed to participate in general assembly to be held on Poush 27.

According to the statutes, clubs who have taken part in the district league for two seasons, can only take part in general assembly and can vote in district election.

Statutes also clarify that nine clubs can't hold the assembly. You need to have at least 10 clubs to form district committee.

The clubs have blamed it as the unscientific and well planned "act" from the DFA.

Makwanpur DFA ex-co member and Chaudaha Football Team secretary Gyanu Chaulagai said that seventeen clubs are excluded from the name of directory.

After receiving the letter, Makwanpur District sports development committee President Madhav Timilsina assured the clubs that he would try to solve the problem by raising the issue to the concerned body.
