Football Federation Australia (FFA) on Friday announced that Australia national team will host Nepal at GIO Stadium in Canberra in the team’s first home match on the road to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.
The match will be played on October 10, 2019.
Tickets to the game will go on sale from 1pm (AEST) on Tuesday, 13 August 2019.

The Canberra Stadium, known also as Bruce Stadium (For sponsorship reasons it is officially known as GIO Stadium Canberra, or simply GIO Stadium) is a facility primarily used for rugby league, soccer and rugby union games, located adjacent to the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra, the capital of Australia.
The GIO Stadium Canberra is the largest sports venue by capacity in Canberra. The capacity is a nominal all-seated 25,011.
