Madan Bhandari memorial cup Futsal tournament got underway in Kathmandu on Sunday.

Platinum, Universal, Nepal Engineering and Laboratory have won their respective matches in the opening day.

18 colleges are taking part in the event, which has a winning purse of Nrs 50,000. Runners up team will get Nrs 30,000.

Madan Bhandari sports academy Pokhara university valley committee is organizing the event.
