Lalitpur: Gurukul FC Wins Title Of 4th SEE Futsal Championship
Gurukul FC has lifted the title of 4th Rio SEE Futsal championship in Lalitpur.
Gurukul defeated Kirtipur 7-1 in the final match played on Friday.
Sandip KC and Ayush Lama scored hat trick each while Sunil Bhandari scored another for the winners.
The champions received Nrs 50,000 and runners up team got Nrs 30,000.
Uttam Shahi became the most valuable player of the tournament. Bijaya Pun Magar received the best goalkeeper award and Swornim Shrestha was declared the highest goal scorer.
Nepal international Bharat Khawas distributed prizes to the winners. 31 teams took part in the event.
