Dasharath Stadium Renovation Work In Last Phase - Follow Up

Dasharath stadium renovation work is in the last phase.

National sports council said that construction of the stadium will be completed in four months for upcoming SA Games.

Nepal is hosting SA Games in December in Kathmandu and Pokhara.

The only international stadium was badly damaged by Gorkha EQ in 2015. It took almost four years for Nepal government to complete renovation work.

Here are the changes in the stadium:

Roof : Checked

New synthetic track: checked

Scoreboard: checked

fllodlights: checked

VIP parapets with folding chair: tender process started.

Please note that the capacity of the stadium has been reduced to 15K from 18K.
