Nepal used to be punching bags against Kuwait. But on Thursday night, Nepal grinded out first ever draw against Kuwait at their home.

Nepal played under pressure but they defended well.

Excited new coach Johan Kalin joined the players to make human chain to appreciate Nepalese football fans present at Al Shabab stadium.

He also gave pep talk to the players in the dressing room.

Earlier Kalin had said that Nepalese football has a long way to go and this friendly series against Kuwait is a new step.

Nepal will play its secon friendly match against Kuwait on March 25.
