News Sahara Club Increases Prize Money Of Aaha! RARA Gold Cup

Sahara club has increased prize money of 17th Aaha! RARA gold cup football tournament.

The club is organizing the prestigious event from Falgun 9-18 at Pokhara stadium.

Club president Keshab Bahadur Thapa said the winners of 17th edition would get Nrs 8,01,000 while runners up team would get Nrs 4,01,000.

Last year's winner got Nrs 7,01,000.

The club is expect to make Nrs 3.2m from the event. The profit will be used in Sahara football academy which is located at Dobilla, Pokhara.

The club will also honor one Nepal international with the best player award, which carries a purse of Nrs 35,000.

Meanwhile, Sahara UK handed over trophies to Sahara club.

Sahara UK general secy Dhanu Thakali handed over trophies to club president Thapa.

The tournament is organized to collect fund for the academy.
