New Star Khopbadi defeated Fikkal FC 2-1 to enter third round of 2nd Adarsha Samaj Cup football tournament in Mechinagar, Jhapa.

Hisub Thapaliya and Roman Bhujel scored apiece for the winners. Prasan Rai scored for Fikkal FC.

Bhujel became the man of the match.

Hosts Adarsha Dhimal club will play against Amukta Pariwar, Siliguri on Saturday.
