Kawase United has won the title of 7th Dashain cup football tournament in Tanahun district.

Kawase defeated Namuna FC 3-1 in the final match played on Wednesday.

Dinesh Rajbanshi, Abhaya Rana and Subash Gurung scored apiece for the winners.

Dinesh Rajbanshi became the man of the match.

The champions received Rs 1,11,111. Runners up team got Rs 66,666.

Sunil Gotame was adjudged the best player of the tournament. Bishwas Shrestha was declared the highest goal scorer.

28 teams took part in the event.
