
Nepal coach Bal Gopal Maharjan admitted two other teams in the group were stronger than them.
After crashing out from Bangabandhu gold cup, coach Maharjan said, "Both of the matches were tough for us. They are better than us in every aspects. I think two good teams from our group went to the semifinals.
Nepal suffered 2-0 loss at the hands of Tajikistan and 1-0 loss at the hands of Palestine. Both of them are higher ranked teams.
"We definitely wanted to win the match but honestly they are much ahead of us and we played defensively in the first half. We however changed our strategy in the second half to go in attacks.
Maharjan also congratulate Bikesh for his brilliant performance.
"I would like to thank Bikesh for his briliiant performance that helped him become most valuable player of the match", added Maharjan.
Bikesh Kuthu said that they gave 100% and tried to play their best against Palestine.
