Nepal international Kamal Shrestha has expressed his shock not to see his name in final squad.
ANFA announces final squad for SAFF championship 2018 on Monday.
Shrestha mentioned that he had worked hard and was playing in first eleven in training sessions.
"I am shocked, stunned not to see my name in the final squad. I was playing in first eleven in training sessions. I am also fit to play. Coach didn't talk to me about my exclusion. I was ready to go to training session.
"Nobody has given me any clarification why I am not in the team.", said Shrestha.
"I was always there in the squad under foreign coaching. I won many trophies with the team.
"When I read the news on GoalNepal, I was shocked. I made a call to coach (Bal Gopal Maharjan) but he didn't pick up phone. I think coach should talk to the players if he isn't in the team", added Shrestha.
Some notable players who couldnt make it to final cut are Rabin Shrestha (Injured), George Prince Karki and Tej Tamang.
