Nepal Police club has entered semifinals of 1st Lalbandi gold cup.

Nepal Police defeated Gorkha Boys, Rupandehi 2-1 in quarterfinal match played at Lalbandi on Monday.

Amar Dangol had put Gorkha boys ahead in the match in 4th minute. They even enjoyed lemon break with 1-0 up.

But Cops scored two goals in the second half.



Man of the match, Ram Wajee scored the levelling goal in 56th minute while experienced midfielder Bhola Silwal scored the match winner in 86th minute.

Nuwakot gold cup winners Police will meet Jhapa XI in the semifinal match.

On Tuesday, Kaski XI will play against Ruslan Three Star Club.

Sarlahi DFA and Lalbandi municipality are organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Rs 7 lakh.
