
The Nepal national football team has officially begun its closed camp training ahead of its upcoming international fixtures. The players have reached Besisahar as preparations get underway for matches against Hong Kong and Laos.
Besisahar municipality mayor Gumansingh Aryal & Lamjung DFA officials welcomed the team in Besisahar.
In a unique and intensive step to boost player fitness and mental resilience, the team will travel to Manang this Thursday for a six-day high-altitude endurance camp. The decision comes as part of head coach Matt Ross' strategy to enhance the squad’s physical conditioning in a challenging environment.
Nepal is scheduled to play a friendly match against Hong Kong on June 5, a key test as they gear up for more competitive action, Mainly against Laos scheduled on June 10.
The Nepal Football Association sees this endurance camp as a vital opportunity to fine-tune the team’s performance and adaptability under pressure.
