A total of 45 players have been called up to the closed camp of the Nepal Youth Team in preparation for their upcoming friendly match against the China Yunnan Youth Football Team. The call-up comes following the appointment of Rajesh Shahi as the head coach of the youth team on Friday.

The friendly match is set to take place on February 15 at the iconic Dasharath Stadium. This match is a key part of the collaboration between the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) and the Chinese Embassy in Nepal, which follows the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on January 22.

As the official organizer, ANFA will provide all necessary technical support for the match, while the Yunnan Sports Bureau and the National Sports Council will serve as guiding units, coordinating with the Chinese Embassy for a seamless event.

Head coach Rajesh Shahi, along with his newly appointed coaching staff, will be tasked with preparing the team for this important fixture. The closed camp will allow the players to fine-tune their skills, build chemistry, and get accustomed to the tactical approach under the new coaching regime.
