The 43rd Haritalika Teej Mela and Invitational Knockout Football Tournament - 2081, which has a proud history, will be held from 18th to 22nd of Bhadra with the slogan "San of Dhikurpokhari, Bhakundo in Teej is our identity".

The organizer also informed that all the games of the tournament which is going to be organized by Dhikurpokhri Youth Network will be held at the playground of Machhapuchhre School located in Annapurna Rural Municipality-02, Dhikurpokhri, Kaski.

According to the organizers, the main purpose of organizing the Haritalika Tij Mela and Football Tournament is to revive the history and tradition, to continuously operate the Annapurna Football Academy, to participate in the competitions held at different places for the development of the players and to upgrade and build the playground in coordination with the school.

The organizer also informed that the best 10 men's football clubs of Gandaki province will participate in the fair with the special support of Annapurna rural municipality office, Kaski.

For men's football, the winner will receive three lakh one thousand three hundred (3,01,300) in cash along with the title, while the runner-up will receive one hundred and seventy one thousand one hundred (1,71,100). Similarly, the best four women's football clubs of Gandaki province will compete in the women's football tournament. For women's football, the winner will receive thirty-four thousand three hundred and thirty-three (34,333) and the runner-up will receive eighteen thousand seven hundred and seventy-seven (18,777) along with the title.

It should be remembered that last year KICE Boon FC won the title for men's football and Dhikurpokhri Youth Network won the title for women's football. Similarly, on the same occasion, a women's special Tej song competition will also be organized.

The organizers believe that more than 30,000 people will physically observe the fair. The organizers have also requested the local dignitaries of Savik Dhikurpokhri village as well as sports lovers to provide material and financial support to make this fair organized by Dhikurpokhri Youth Network active in social responsibility and sports activities a success.
