Bhojpur and Jhapa districts are going to face each other in the finals of the ongoing Koshi province level women's football tournament.

Bhojpur and Jhapa secured the title clash by winning their respective matches towards the two semi-finals held on Sunday.

Bhojpur defeated Okhaldhunga 2-0 in the first semi-final. Ashika Karki and Sabina Tamang scored in Bhojpur's victory. Bhojpur's Aarti Bhujel was declared the player of the match. She received 2,000 cash and a medal as an award.

Similarly, in the second semi-final, Jhapa won a wide victory over Taplejung by 6-0. Jennifer Magar scored all the goals for Jhapa with a double hat-trick. Magar was chosen as the player of the match. She also received 2000 cash and a medal.

Now Bhojpur and Jhapa will compete for the title in the final on Asar 25. The winner of the competition organized by Provincial Sports Development Board, Koshi Province, Biratnagar and District Sports Development Committee, Khotang, will receive 2 lakhs in cash along with the title, while the runner-up will receive 1 lakh.
