News Biratnagar City FC Enters SFs Of 10th Bhaluwa Gold Cup

Biratnagar City Football Club, Morang has become the last team to enter the semi-finals of the 10th Bhaluwa Gold Cup Knockout Football Tournament.

In the fourth and last quarter-final held on Saturday, Biratnagar defeated Chatya Sa Football Club, Jhapa 3-2 in a tiebreaker and entered the last four.

Before that, both the teams played an exciting game with 3-3 goals. Saurabh Limbu, Dorje Tamang and Ashok Khawas scored goals for Biratnagar towards the scheduled time. Milan Rai, Abhishek Gurung and Biju Bhujel scored for Chatya Sa.

Biratnagar goalkeeper Nishan Magar was declared man of the match. Under the competition, the first semi-final match on June 2 will be held between Gadhi Youth Sporting Club, Sunsari and Salhesh Yuva Club, Siraha, informed the organizers.

The winner of the competition organized by Golden Star Youth Club, Duhabi-7, Bhaluwa, Sunsari will receive a cash prize of 4 lakhs along with a title, while the runner-up will receive a trophy, medal and certificate along with 2 lakhs. The final match will be held on Asar 4.
