With an impressive win, Hanami BFC entered the finals of the first Nawalparasi Gold Cup National Knockout Football Tournament.
In the first semi-final held on Monday, BFC managed to get closer to the title by defeating Kohalpur Racing Sahara Club, Banke 3-0.
Milan Chhetri scored a header in the fourth minute of the game for BFC in the Shahid Smriti Stadium. Biki Rai added the second goal in the 46th minute. In the 10th minute of the second half, Rai scored the second personal goal and the third goal for the team to ensure the victory of BFC.
BFC's Milan Chhetri was declared man of the match. He received 5,000 cash and a trophy as an award. As part of the competition, the second semi-final match on Tuesday, June 22, will be held between the organizer Rising Star Football Club, Bhumi and Sahara Club, Pokhara, informed the match coordinator Sandeep KC.
Dhamendra Agrahari, Secretary General of the Foundation, said that the winner of the competition organized by Rising Star Community Development Institute, Sunwal-12, Bhumi, Nawalparasi will receive 511,000 cash along with the title, while the runner-up will receive 311,000. The final match will be held on 24th of Jestha.
