Nepal's Preliminary Squad For UAE Announced

The preliminary squad for match against UAE has been announced.

Head coach Alberto Anness announced the squad on Tuesday. The "home match" against the UAE scheduled for 24th of June under the FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifiers will not be held in Nepal after the Dasharath stadium's standards are not met.
 
Squad:

Goalkeepers: Abhishek Baral, Bishal Sunar, Kiran Chemjong, Santosh Mahat

Defenders: Abhishek Limbu, Ananta Tamang, Bimal Pandey, Bishal Basnet, Chhiring Lama, Rohit Chand, Sanish Shrestha, Saubhagya Rai, Ajay Chaudhary, Yogesh Gurung

Midfielders: Bharat Khawas, Laken Limbu, Mani Kumar Lama, Manish Dangi, Basant Jimba, Phatteman Ghale, Rohan Karki, Sumit Shrestha

Forwards: Anjan Bista, Dinesh Henjan, Gillespye Jung Karki, Hisub Thapaliya, Samir Tamang, Sanjeeb Bista
