Late Durgadevi Shrestha Veteran football tournament is starting from today in Birtamode, Jhapa.

In the opening match, the organizer blue and our Itahari Vetran are competing.

Eight teams from the East are participating in the tournament to be held at the Domalal Rajvanshi Stadium organized by Birtamod, a youth family from the East.

Other competing teams are Bharaul Veterans FC, Biratnagar Veterans FC, Jhiljile Veterans FC, Chandragarhi Veterans FC, Ilam Veterans FC and host Red.

The winner of the final match on Jestha 7 will get 1 lakh 1 thousand 111 in cash.

The club organized the competition in memory of Durgadevi Shrestha, the mother of Ravin Shrestha, the president of the organization.
