Ward No. 14 and Ward No. 4 will face each other in the final match of the Mayor's Cup football tournament held in Hetauda.
In the first semi-final match held today, Ward No. 14 defeated 15 in a penalty shootout 4-3 and managed to enter the final. As no goal could be scored between the two teams until the scheduled time, the decision of the game was taken from the penalty shootout.
The man of the match of the first match was Subin Ghalan of Ward No. 14.
Similarly, in the second semi-final match, Ward No. 13 was defeated by Ward No. 4 in a penalty shootout 5-4 and succeeded in entering the final.
The game was decided by a penalty shootout after the match ended with two goals between both teams. Anish Maharjan, who scored two goals for the winning team in the second semi-final, was declared the man of the match.
The final match of the competition will be held tomorrow and the winner will receive a shield medal and certificate along with two lakhs in cash.
Likewise, the second, third and fourth place winners will receive a shield medal and certificate along with cash of one hundred and fifty thousand, fifty thousand and twenty five thousand respectively.
