Hanami BFC, Chitwan has entered the finals of the ongoing Kapilvastu Tilaurakot Gold Cup Knockout Football Tournament.
In the second semi-final held on Thursday, BFC managed to enter the final after defeating Sudurpaschim-11 3-0. Bikas Thapa scored two goals for BFC in the match at Buddha Stadium and Bibek Gurung scored one more goal.
Bikas Thapa, who scored two goals for BFC in the match, was also chosen as the man of the match. BFC will now face the divisional team Nepal Police Club for the title in the final on Saturday 24th of Chaitra.
Dhruv Bhushal, the team manager of BFC, who was excited after winning the title, said that he is planning to give historic happiness to the entire Chitwan people by winning the title with an excellent performance in the final.
The winner of the tournament organized by the Kapilvastu District Football Association will receive a cash prize of Rs 11,11,111 and the runner-up will receive Rs 5,55,555.
