News Friendly Match: Nepal U23 Beats A Chinese Youth Team From Qinghai

The Nepali youth team won the friendly match on the occasion of Chinese New Year.

The Nepali U-23 team defeated the youth team of China, Qinghai Football Club by 5-1 in the match held at Dasharath Rangshal in Tripureshwar on Saturday.

Samir Tamang scored two goals for Nepal. He scored in the 39th and 54th minutes of second half. Similarly, Sanjeev Bista scored in the second minute, Chiring Lama in the 63rd minute and Nirajan Dhami in the 75th minute.

Even though it is a youth team, the Nepali team had players who had already played for the national team, so Nepal kept the opposition under complete pressure.

In which Manish Dangi captained Nepal. Ayush Ghalan, Chiring Lama, Laken Limbu, Utsav Rai also played in the national team.

The game was jointly organized by the Chinese Embassy in Nepal, the National Sports Council and the Nepal Tourism Board.

Before the game and during half time, a presentation with various cultural programs was also shown.
