The second Arzu Rice Mill Dangihat Province Level Knockout Football Tournament 2080 will kick off on Magh 26.

Eight clubs will participate in the competition organized by Dangihat Jagriti Youth Club located at Belbari 9. Jagruti Yuva Club held a press conference on Sunday and informed that the competition will be held from January 26 to February 5.

APF Pakli, Rara FC Dhankuta, Pathari 11, State Police Football Club Rani, Dhruvatara Club Jhapa, Gaighat Football Club Udaipur, Dharan Football Club Sunsari and the host Dangihat Jagriti Football Club Belbari will participate in the competition, said Min kumar Rai Ashok, the match coordinator.

The winner of the competition will receive a trophy medal and certificate along with 1 lakh 51 thousand, while the runner-up team will receive 75 thousand 500 rupees. Club Secretary Ashish Karki informed that the man of the match will be awarded 2500 each day and the best coach, best midfielder, best keeper, best defense, best forward and all-round scorer will be awarded 5000 and emerging players will be awarded 7000. .

The competition will be conducted from Magh 26 to Falgun 5 at the Kali Ma Vi playground in Dangihat. According to the organizers, it will cost 1.4 million rupees to complete the competition. Arju Rice Mill is the main sponsor of the competition and Belbari Municipality is the co-sponsor.

Bahumukhi agricultural farm has sponsored the first prize and the second prize is sponsored by Dangihat Japan Friendship Society. For the competition, the local Sagar Kunwar has provided jerseys, tracks and sports equipment worth 21,000.

The first competition was held in 2077 and Pathari 11 Football Club became the winner in that competition. The winner of the previous edition received 1 lakh 1 thousand and the runner-up received 51 thousand trophies.

Prabhuram Adhikari, president of the club, said that Jagriti Youth Club, which has been doing positive work in the society through football games, will conduct regular operations in the coming year after the next tournament. The competition will be regularly broadcasted live on GoalNepal.com.

Ward President Shaligram Basnet informed that the club has been doing community activities such as honoring senior citizens, public awareness about drugs and addiction in private and community schools, donating blood, installing CC TV in public places, along with football competitions.
