Ekata Sporting Club in Birtamode 2 Charpane, Jhapa has announced the income and expenses of the second Ekta Sporting Gold Cup football tournament.

In the annual general meeting of the club held recently in Charpane, the income and expenses of the money given by the donors have been announced. For the establishment of the renewable fund of Ekta Sporting Club, in the competition that started from October 25th and ended on October 3rd, the income of 17 lakh 42 thousand 694 rupees and to complete the competition 10 lakh 53 The details of the expenditure of Rs. 133 thousand have been made public. It is mentioned in the report that 6 lakh 89 thousand 561 rupees have been saved for Akshaya Kosh.

Birtamod Municipality Deputy Chief Nagendra Prasad Sangraula was the chief guest at the meeting held under the chairmanship of club president Kiran Poudel. Donors who supported Ekta Sporting Club were honored in the general meeting.

Chairman Paudel informed that more than 30 donors and supporters including Simrik Sahakari, Sursingh Bist, Delhiram Sitaula, Devraj Rizal, Kesar Khawas, Dammar Bahadur Deuja were honored.

Chief guest Sangraula, Birtamod 2 Ward President Kishore Paudel, Birtamod Nagar Education Branch Head Kesar Khawas, Donor Social Worker Dilliram Sitaula and others have promised that the club's activities are exemplary for the society and they will continue to support the club's plans in the future. From this meeting, the committee for the new term of Ekta Sporting Club has also been elected.

A new 15-member working committee has been formed by the election committee with Dumbar Deuja as coordinator, Bhaskar Luintel and Delhiram Sitaula as members.

Kiran Poudel was unanimously elected as the chairman of the newly formed committee. Similarly, senior vice president Mohan Prasad Koirala, vice president Khemraj Giri and Surya Bahadur Limbu have been selected. Ramesh Kumar Upreti as General Secretary, Madhav Kharel as Secretary, Diwakar Mainali as Treasurer, Kalpana Pokharel as Co-Treasurer. Similarly, Milan Upreti, Madan Adhikari, Rajiv Bishta, Ramakrishna Dahal, Sursingh Bista, Kishan Murmu and Pranesh Shrestha have been selected as working committee members. Ekta Sporting Club has been engaging local children in sports activities on a daily basis for two years. Chairman Paudel told the media that if children are involved in sports, it will be easier to find new players and if children are active in sports activities, the chances of falling into the trap will be reduced.

The goal of the club is to organize district-level sports competitions in the coming years to increase the amount in Akshaya Kosh.
