In preparations for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026 and AFC Asian Cup 2027 second-round selection tournament, Head Coach Vincenzo Alberto Ennis has assembled a squad of 33 players for closed training with the Nepali national football team.

Nepal, placed in Group H for the qualifying tournament, is set to face formidable opponents in the form of the UAE, Bahrain, and Yemen in a home-and-away format.

The journey begins on November 16 (corresponding to October 30th) when Nepal takes on the UAE in Dubai in their opening match of the selection competition.

Following that, on November 21st, Nepal is slated to play their second match, the first on home turf, against Yemen at Dashrath Stadium.
