Hosts Madan Bhandari Sports Academy secured semifinal spot stunning Nepal Army Club 3-1 in the quarterfinal match played at at Manabgyan Ma Vi, Ramnagar, Butwal on Monday.

The departmental side failed to maintain lead taken through Bibek Basnet in the 14th minute. The hosts side played better game in the second half. African recruit Max scored a brace in th 62nd minute and 67th minute while Aba scored a goal in the 75th minute.

APF will play against defending champions Sunaulo Sangam tomorrow.

The champions will get Rs 15 lakh whereas runners up team will get half of that amount.
