
Nepali national futsal team has started a closed camp in Pokhara.
ANFA Futsal Head Binod Gurung said that the team has come to Pokhara for the preparation of AFC Futsal Asian Cup Qualifiers to be held in Mongolia from October 7 to 11.
The national team will train in the multi-purpose covered hall of Pokhara Stadium.
The players under the training of Futsal head coach Gaurab Basnet are Ashish Dangol and Sagar Gurung as goalkeepers, Vijay Shrestha, Saroj Tamang and Sanje Syangtan as goalkeepers, Alama Adil Hamid, Amit Tamang, Aruj Singh, Sumit Shrestha, Ujwal Shahi, Rajat Tiwari and Dipesh Ghale and Sujit Budhathoki as pivots.
Manikumar Lama, Sumit Shrestha, Adil Hamid, Vijay Shrestha & Saroj Tamang are the players who had participated in AFC Futsal Asian Cup Qualifier held in Kyrgyzstan last year.
