16th Bhanu cup got underway at Bhansar, Tanahun on Friday.

Seven Star club defeated defending champs Tanahun 11 3-1 on penalties to enter second round.

Ramesh Shrestha became the player of the match.

Five matches will be played on Sunday. Earlier Gandaki CM Surendra Pandey inaugurated the event.

Bhansar yuwa club, Bhimsen yuwa club & Salsisne yuwa club jointly organizing the event, which has a winning purse of NRs 2,25,210.

32 teams are taking part in the event.
