News Why ANFA Needs To Send Eight Extra Officials With Nepal National Team?
GoalNepal

This is nothing but ANFA politics. Point is that the FA always uses this option as its strategy to woo officials from clubs and districts.

Officials must go and see the things abroad. It is also important that those officials need to emulate the things that they learn abroad back home. But this is not happening. This is simply a junket arranged by ANFA to make officials happy to secure their votes.

ANFA election is supposed to be held on March 27 but stay order from Patan high court has raised question about it.

On Friday, ANFA bade Nepal national team farewell to Doha, Qatar. Surprisingly, the FA included eight extra officials in the team travelling to Doha, Qatar.

According to normal practice, physiotherapist, sports medicine doctor, equipment or logistic manager regularly travel with the team. But you never see this practice at ANFA. Interestingly, their media never travels with the team.

It is praiseworthy to mention that physiotherapist and GK coach are travelling with the team.

Why ANFA needs to send extra eight officials with Nepal national team? What are their roles and responsibilities?

When contacted, ANFA's spokesperson Sanjib Mishra said he would get back to us soon.

The FA should have included sports medicine doctor, equipment or logistic manager & technical study group members. (ANFA doesn't have technical study group).

Is it another strategy of current leadership to lure and woo club and district officials ahead of ANFA election?

This ANFA leadership backed by suspended Ganesh Thapa will never change.

The officials who are travelling with the team are:

Rajendra Lama
Nirajan Dangol
Suman Shrestha
Ramesh Shrestha
Ajay Budthapa
Pawan Karki
Modini Ghimire
Ramesh Adhikari
