Ram Narayan Mishra Memorial Madhesh Province Inter District Championship got underway in Simara, Bara on Monday.

Bara defeated Para 5-4 on penalties to enter semifinals of the competition.

There are just eight teams in Madhesh province.

Both teams played 0-0 draw in regulation time before inviting a spot kick battle.

Madhesh province football association is organizing the championship.
