Machhindra FC & NRT have won their respective matches in Martyr's memorial A Division league on Sunday.

Bhutan captain Chencho registers first win

Machhindra defeated Sankata club 2-1 in a tight match played at Dasharath stadium on Sunday. Bimal Gharti Magar (18') scored first for White Lions but Sankata leveled the score through Manish Dangi two minutes later.

Olawale scored the winner in 46th minute. The match was marred with a serious injury to Machhindra's defender Chirring Gurung. Gurung was rushed to nearby hospital after receiving a CPR by club's physio Suraj Bhusal.

The White Lions have moved to ninth position with nine points from seven matches.

NRT Registers first win

New Road Team (NRT) has registered first win in the on-going league. NRT defeated Himalayan Sherpa Club 2-1.

Khamir Gilsan put the Mountaineers ahead in 14th minute but Rohan Khadgi leveled the score in 66th minute. Jenish Prajapati scored the match winner in 89th minute. NRT are now in 12th position with six points.

TAFC, SYC play an exciting draw

Tribhuwan Army FC played an exciting 3-3 draw against Satdobato youth club at Dasharath stadium.

Gilepsy Karki scored a brace (4', 39') and Dipak Gurung scored another (51') for TAFC. Dipak Raj Singh Thakuri (24'), Sardorbek (48') and William (84') for SYC.

SYC are in third position with 13 points while Army are in 8th position with 9 points.
