Birat gold cup trust is organizing Birat gold cup from March 31 in Biratnagar, Morang.

Trust president Nabin Rijal informed GoalNepal that they had increased the prize money to Rs 12,71,000 this edition. Runners up team will get Rs 5,55,555.


Best player in each category will get Rs 25,000 cash each. Man of the match will get Rs 10,000 cash.

This will become the highest cash bounty tournament in Mofasal. Jhapa gold cup winners had received Rs 12,51,000.

Ten teams will take part in the event.

Estimated budget of the event is NRs 12.5m.

Preparation is on full swing

The organizers have started preparation on full swing. Ground maintenance, painting at parapets are being done.
