5th Makwanpur Gold Cup: Himalayan Sherpa Club Enters QFs
Himalayan Sherpa club has entered quarterfinals of 5th Makwanpur gold cup football tournament in Hetauda, Makwanpur.
Himalayan Sherpa club sidelined Bagmati club, Sarlahi 2-1 in a tight match played at Piple stadium on Tuesday.
Yomi (37') and Nishan Limbu (63') scored apiece for Himalayan Sherpa club. Sanam Dhimal scored one for BYC in 66th minute.
Nishan Limbu became the player of the match.
Birgunj United will play against Avenir FC in quarterfinal match on Wednesday.
Makwanpur DFA is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of NRs 15 lakh.
