Sunsari (GoalNepal) - Experienced referee Balidan Puma Rai has been unanimously elected as the President of the Sunsari District Football Referee Association. The 13-member Sunsari District Football Referee Association was unanimously elected under Rai's chairmanship from the association's second convention held at Turf Sports Bar in Itahari.

The association's elected senior vice president is Shashi Thapa Magar, while the elected vice presidents are Smile Rain and Subin Karki. Similarly, Devraj Chaudhary is the secretary and Yashraj Rai has been elected as the joint secretary. Janakraj Sunuwar will serve as the treasurer and Hasta Lakshmi Rai will be the co-treasurer.

From the meeting held in the presence of Madhu Sudan Khanal, Central Vice President of Nepal Football Referee Association, Manish Thapa, Md. Farooq Ahmed, Sundar Rai, Sunita Rai and Manish Adhikari were unanimously elected as members,

Before that, the program was inaugurated by Kishore Rai, Honorary Senior Vice President of the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) and President of the No. 1 Province Football Association. On that occasion, he congratulated the new working committee of the referees association and wished them a successful tenure, saying that they should work in the interests of the referees.
