Biratnagar (GoalNepal) - Birat Gold Cup 2079 is going to be held in Chaitra later this year. The tournament will take place at the Sahid Stadium in Biratnagar from Chaitra 6 to 14.

Birat Gold Cup trust have announced that Biratnagar Metropolitan City mayor Nagesh Koirala will be the coordinator of the organizing committee. The winning purse of the tournament will also be increased this year.

A total of eight teams, including international teams, will be taking part in the tournament. The tournament will be played under lights.

APF Football Club are the defending champions of the tournament's previous edition in 2077.
