Kathmandu (GoalNepal) - The star forward of the national football team, Anjan Bista, has been honored with the Chhatra Bahadur Thapa Memorial Fund. This year, Anjan received this honor which is given annually in memory of the then Royal Nepali Army General Chhatra Bahadur Thapa.

Anjan was felicitated by the chief guest Nepali Army Commander in Chief Prabhuram Sharma with a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 and a certificate of honor. Earlier, another national football team member, Nawayug Shrestha, has also been honored with this honor.

On the same occasion, national weightlifting athlete Kamal Adhikari, who is affiliated with Nepal Army Club, was also honored with cash.
