Lalitpur (GoalNepal) - St. Xavier's School, Jhapa, Bhaktapur  School and Nepal Don Bosco School have entered the quarter-finals of the ongoing 25th Father Moran Memorial Invitational Inter-School Football Tournament.

In Group B, St. Xavier's defeated Dolphin English Secondary School, Godavari 3-0 and entered the quarterfinals as runners-up of Group B. Aarav Acharya, Aaron Acharya and Prajya Tamang scored one goal each for St. Xavier's. Yukesh Tamang of Dolphin School was declared the player of the match.

Similarly, in the day's second match, Bhaktapur NIST and Crescent Academy School, Godavari played a 1-1 draw in Group C. Syaron Katuwal scored for Bhaktapur NIST and Siddharth Ghale scored for Crescent. Ghale was also chosen as the player of the match. After this result, Bhaktapur NIST entered the quarterfinals as runners-up from Group C.

Likewise, in the third match of the day, Nepal Don Bosco defeated Godavari Residential School by a big margin of 8-0 in Group D and entered the quarterfinals as group winners.

Ayush Tamang scored four goals for Nepal Don Bosco. Similarly, Suresh Tamang scored two goals while Rojak Maharjan and Rupsan Nepal contributed one goal each. In the match, Suresh Tamang of Nepal Don Bosco was declared the player of the match.

The ongoing competition organized by St. Xavier's School, Godavari, Lalitpur will be held till next Monday. A total of 16 schools participated in the competition.
