Red Horse FC, Ilam has lifted the title of Indo-Nepal challenge cup football tournament in Birtamod, Jhapa.
Red Horse FC sidelined Dharan City FC 4-1 in the final match played at Domalal Rajbanshi memorial grounds on Wednesday.
Saurav Subba scored a bace (21', 61') while Bishal Tamang and Simanta Thapa scored apiece for the winners. Milan Rai scored a consolation goal for Dharan.
Saurav Subba became the best forward, Bishal Tamang the best midfielder, Simanta Thapa the best defender and Dev Gurung the best goalkeeper. All of them got NRs 5000 cash each. Kiran Gurung became the rising player of the tournament.
The champions received NRs 2,22,222 while runners up team got NRs 1,11,111.
Chief guests, Jhapa XI FC president Jal Kumar Gurung and other guests distributed prizes to the winners. Birtamod United FC organized the event.
