Kathmandu (GoalNepal) - Nepal National women's football team captain and APF FC goalkeeper Angila Tumbapo Subba has signed with Indian Women's League side Sethu FC. Anjila has signed a one-year deal with the Indian outfit for the upcoming season of the Indian Women's League.

Anjila is the third female player to be signed by the IWL side Sethu. Previously, forward Sabitra Bhandari and midfielder Anita Basnet have spent some time with Sethu. Anjila has also spent some time with the Pakistani side Masha United FC.

Sabitra Bhandari has been playing for Gokulam Kerala FC recently. With Anjila roped in by Sethu, all three players that have signed up to play in the IWL so far from Nepal come from APF FC.

Anjila captained the Nepal national women's team in the recently concluded SAFF Women's Championship in Kathmandu. Nepal finished as the runners-up in the tournament after a defeat to Bangladesh in the final.
