News Nepal Ambassador To Sri Lanka Motivates Nepal U17 Side Ahead Of SAFF U17 Final

Nepali ambassador to Sri Lanka, Bashudev Mishra has met with the Nepal U-17 National Team and wished them for the SAFF U17 Championship final against India later today. The ambassador met the team alongside ANFA president Pankaj Nembang who has flown to Sri Lanka for the final.

Nepal U17 will play against India U17 in the second final of the SAFF U17 championship today in Colombo. The match will begin at 8 PM local time (8:15 PM NST) at the Racecourse Stadium in Colombo.

In the tournament's first semi-final, India defeated Bangladesh 2-1, while Nepal defeated the hosts Sri Lanka 6-0 in the second semifinal to confirm their meeting with India. Coach Shrestha also asserted that the team will play as a team and play to win the final.

Nepal remained undefeated in the competition and reached the finals. India suffered one defeat in the group stage against Nepal.
