Kusume Shining Club, Kerabari, Morang have entered the 2nd Sukchar Challenge Cup Knockout Football Tournament semi-finals. In the second quarter-final, Kusume defeated Udaya Youth Club, Dharan, Sunsari 5-1 and confirmed their place in the semi-finals. 

Abhisekh Gurung scored twice while Bikash Darji, Sujan Limbu and Bishal Limbu scored apiece for Kusume. Milan Rai pulled two goals back for Udaya but couldn't prevent the loss.

Abhisekh Gurung was named the player in the match. He received a cash prize of Rs. 1,100 and a medal.

The third quarterfinal match will be played between Taltalaiya Football Academy, Sunsari and Bhaunne Youth Club, Morang.

The competition winner organized by Nawa Youth Club Sukachar-11, Budhiganga-6, Sukchar, Morang will receive Rs. 50,000 cash along with the title, while the runner-up will receive 30,000.

The final of the tournament, in which a total of 10 teams are participating, will be held on Ashoj 3rd.
