News ANFA Remembers Lalit Krishna Shrestha On His Death Anniversary

On the 7th anniversary of former acting president Lalit Krishna Shrestha's death, the All Nepal Football Association held a special program on Sunday.

Nilu Shrestha, Shrestha's wife, also dedicated a relocated statue of the late Shrestha at the ANFA Complex in Satdoabato. On this occasion, a minute of silence was observed to commemorate his death.

Flowers were presented to Shrestha by ANFA President Karma Tsering Sherpa, Senior Vice President Pankaj Bikram Nembang, vice presidents Bir Bahadur Khadka, Krishna Thapa, Shixit Parajuli, and Upendra Man Singh, General Secretary Indraman Tuladhar, and other ANFA members.

ANFA President Sherpa and Senior Vice President Nembang, as well as Three Star Club President Arun Man Joshi, spoke at the event and praised Shrestha's contributions.

On this day in 2015, then-ANFA acting president and Three Star Club President Shrestha was electrocuted at his home in Bhaisepati.
